Location: Mississauga, Canada

Overview:
The Senior Data Analyst will support oncology research and development through the analysis of clinical and genomic real-world data. The role requires collaboration with scientists, clinical data managers, and informatics teams to drive data-driven insights in cancer research.

Position: Senior Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Perform cancer genomic data analysis with and without clinical data.
• Manage workflows and data requests from internal and external teams.
• Develop and maintain tools for data analysis and program workflows.
• Communicate with collaborators to track data usage in oncology R&D.
• Lead and schedule meetings with stakeholders.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Background in cancer biology, cancer genomics, or epidemiology.
• Experience working with real-world data (e.g., electronic health records, claims data).
• Proficiency in computational bioinformatics using R or Python.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Good collaboration and communication skills.
• Preferred: Experience analyzing genomic data (DNA, RNAseq, whole exome).
• Familiarity with data visualization and management.
• Knowledge of public/private genomic data resources (e.g., TCGA, cBioPortal).
• Education: Master's or Ph.D. in genomics, molecular biology, cancer biology, bioinformatics, or related fields with 2+ years of experience.

. Additional Information:

• 1-year contract position with potential for extension.
• Hybrid or onsite work in Mississauga, Canada.
